Short version: if you sign up, we collect your email and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anything besides telling you when this ships. No cookies, no tracking, no fine print doing something the plain language above doesn't.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist or sign up for updates, we collect your email address. That's it: no name, no phone number, no location.
Taste feedback surveys don't ask for your name or email. Some of them have an optional Sample ID field, printed on the box your sample came in. If you fill that in, know that we privately keep a record matching sample IDs to the person we sent that sample to, so we're able to connect your feedback back to you. Leave it blank and your response is anonymous.
Founding Members
If you redeem a Founding Member invite code, we collect your first and last name, plus a contact method of your choosing (Instagram, phone, or email), and store it alongside the code and the time you redeemed it. This is just so we can address you by name and reach you about Founding Member stuff. It isn't shared with anyone and isn't used for marketing.
What we use it for
Your email is used for one thing: to notify you when Hydratonics is ready, or when we have something worth telling you. Not a newsletter, not marketing emails for other things. Just that.
Feedback survey answers are used to adjust the formula before launch. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.
Form submissions are processed and stored using Google Apps Script and Google Sheets, so Google handles storage on our behalf. This site also loads fonts directly from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to display them.
If you click through to our Instagram or TikTok, you've left this site and their own privacy policies take over from there.
Cookies & tracking
We don't use cookies. We don't use analytics. Nothing on this site tracks you while you're here or follows you after you leave.
Your rights
Want your email removed? DM us on Instagram and we'll delete it. No form, no waiting period, no need to cite a specific law to get your own data taken out.
Same goes if you gave us a Sample ID and want that link between your feedback and your identity removed. Just ask.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it ever changes, we'll update this page. This is a small, early-stage project, so we don't expect much to change before launch.
